About this event

Join us at the Lake Mansion for another Monthly Acrylic class as we recreate Thomas Moran’s Summit of the Sierras. Students will explore color mixing, layering, and brushwork techniques while capturing the dramatic peaks, light, and atmosphere of this iconic Sierra landscape. With step-by-step instruction from our Teaching Artist, participants will develop acrylic painting skills while creating a finished landscape to take home. This class is suitable for all levels of acrylic artist.

All supplies included. This is a step-by-step class, so please arrive by the stated start of class; late arrivals may miss steps that can’t be revisited.

Ages 14 and up.
