Third Saturday: Meet the Elephant Vet Team

About this event

Join us at the Elephant Discovery Center on November 21st from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM for a special event in our ongoing 'Third Saturday' series, which features free and family-friendly educational activities throughout each month until December 2026. This month, you'll have the unique opportunity to meet a member of The Sanctuary's dedicated elephant Vet Team and ask any burning questions about elephant care. Additionally, participants can engage in the creation of Thanksgiving enrichment for the elephants, crafting items that stimulate their minds and encourage natural behaviors. Dress appropriately for a hands-on activity involving paint and markers, and bring your creativity! While you won't see or interact with the elephants directly, there will be plenty of engaging activities for all ages to enjoy. The event takes place at The Discovery Center, located at 27 East Main Street, Hohenwald, TN 38462. For questions, please reach out to or call x109.
