- ➤ Washoe County launches the Joining Forces campaign at local sites including Grand Sierra Resort + Casino, Carson Valley Inn + Casino, the Governor's Mansion, and Fernley - Raley's. Donations will support food pantries and community organizations serving residents in need. 2NEWS
- ➤ America First Credit Union’s Warm the Soles initiative delivered brand-new shoes to students at Kate Smith Elementary earlier this week in Sparks. The donation, wrapped festively (with extra holiday spirit), helps kick off the season with warmth and cheer. KRNV
- ➤ A fund has been created by the TMFPD Foundation on Dec. 12 to support the Rizzuto children from south Reno after their parents died in a truck crash near Placerville on Dec. 7, with nearly $11,000 raised toward a $250,000 goal to meet their ongoing care needs. Reno Gazette Journal
