  • NV Energy warned customers to be alert for holiday scams that use fake websites to collect personal details—official bill numbers and the secure website should be used for transactions.   • Reno families face higher prices on Thanksgiving foods as frozen turkey now averages $2.31 per pound—a rise of over 11% from last year—with stores showing big price differences, including Raley’s charging up to $2.79 per pound while Walmart and Save Mart offer lower rates.
