- ➤ Food Bank of Northern Nevada hosted special distributions on Saturday in Fallon, Gardnerville, and Sparks to help locals still recovering after the government shutdown—community members have faced slow rebound despite the shutdown ending. - ➤ The University of Nevada, Reno updated its tailgate policy ahead of Saturday's Wolf Pack football game by allowing stages shorter than three feet if set up by 8 a.m.—and by limiting DJs to one set with music ending at kickoff while requiring tailgate areas to be cleaned by 8 p.m. Sunday. University Police began enforcing the new rules on November 15 to manage traffic and secure emergency access. 2NEWS
