BUSINESS NEWS

  • The Mint bar will open on November 19 at the rebranded Reno Revival project at the former Harrah’s Reno hotel-casino and offer 24-hour service including breakfast, sandwiches, pizza, and chicken wings. Fine Entertainment said the bar — its initial offering — will help maintain its gaming license while additional dining and entertainment options are planned — underscoring its role in the project renewal.  Reno Gazette Journal

  • NV Energy reported that over 1,500 residents in west Reno are without power after an outage that began around 8 p.m.—officials are investigating the cause and working to restore service.  2NEWS
  • A power outage in west Reno affected over 1700 residents on Nov 9—utility crews assessed a downed line on I-80 near Keystone and worked to restore service.  2NEWS
