- ➤ The Washoe County School District will cut current costs ahead of the next fiscal year by planning service reductions and streamlining administration—while the School Board approved rezoning at Bernice Mathews Elementary to address enrollment changes in Sparks. The plan moves some students from Mathews to Allen and Cannan and shifts others from Risley and Smith to Mathews to minimize disruption. KRNV
