- ➤ The City of Reno is hosting a Halloween dance for seniors tomorrow, October 28th. 2NEWS
- ➤ Greg Saunders and his family ended their long search for the Nevada Day Treasure Hunt medallion by winning $1,000 and the official award on October 26 at San Rafael Regional Park—celebrating the 24th year of this local tradition. 2NEWS
- ➤ Molina Healthcare of Nevada, Catholic Charities of Northern Nevada and Mr. Bubbles Laundromat have partnered to offer free laundry service for families in need today from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m. at Mr. Bubbles Laundromat in Reno — each family can wash two large loads and receive a tote bag with detergent, dryer sheets, fabric softener, snacks and water. 2NEWS

- ➤ Anime fans will enjoy a weekend event at the Reno-Sparks Convention Center from October 31 to November 2 when Sierra Nevada Anime Fans Unite offers panels, anime screenings, a cosplay contest, tabletop gaming, and live concerts by Bonnie Gordon, Angel Rose, and local group Luminescent — Inspire. Ticket prices are $60 for a weekend pass and $30 for a single day, and a charity auction on Sunday will support the Special Needs Community of Northern Nevada. 2NEWS
