- ➤ Workers installed safety bollards at the Reno Events Center on October 23rd to keep pedestrians safe (a measure to reduce risk). 2NEWS
- ➤ A SNAP information session (for local residents) will be held on Friday at St. Vincent's Food Pantry (noon to 3 p.m.) to share details on the SNAP program. 2NEWS
- ➤ NDOT completed the first phase of its two-year project to resurface U.S. 50 near Lake Tahoe—repaving 5.5 miles and enhancing drainage and safety features along Stateline’s busy casino corridor. Starting today, drivers will not encounter lane closures as crews plan to resume work in April to complete the final mile between Round Hill and Zephyr Cove. KRNV
- ➤ A section of Mt. Rose Highway near Galena Creek Regional Park will be closed from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m. on Oct. 26 for an oversize vehicle transport between Mt. Rose Ski Resort and Timberline/Bordeaux drives — side street access will also be restricted during that time. KRNV
