- ➤ The City of Reno is hosting a Day of Service at Lake Park this Saturday from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. where volunteers, in partnership with One Truckee River, KTMB, and Friends of Lake Park, will plant trees, spread mulch, and install a new bench made from reclaimed wood — all tools and materials will be provided. 2NEWS

- ➤ The Human Trafficking Prevention Alliance is offering two $1,000 scholarships to Washoe County students graduating in 2026 to create original projects that teach empathy and healthy relationships.
