The Andelin Family Farm Fall Festival runs every Wednesday through Saturday until November 1 and offers family activities including a pumpkin patch, a train ride, and an interactive corn maze with a dinosaur theme — drawing families from Reno.

Guests can also enjoy haunted maze tours and zombie paintball starting at 7 p.m. from Thursday to Saturday — a program that has grown since Natalie and Cameron Andelin took over the farm in 2009.

The Reno Fire Department added a new station at the Reno-Tahoe International Airport—they absorbed all airport fire department employees and now operate under one dispatch system.

Sierra at Tahoe will open on November 28 and Homewood Mountain Resort will welcome guests on December 12—Sierra has added two new runs and extra acreage for learners while Homewood looks forward to a busy winter season.
