Virginia City celebrated Heritage Days with a Civil War battle reenactment on the Comstock over the weekend, ahead of today's Labor Day parade on C Street.
Visitors enjoyed a ride on the Virginia (Truckee) Railroad and learned about local mining history.
The Best in the West Nugget Rib Cook Off is held along Victorian Avenue tonight until 10 p.m.—and will return tomorrow from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. in honor of Labor Day.
