- ➤ On August 23 in Sparks, a late model white Nissan Titan crashed into a home on the 4800 block of Ravello Drive at about 5:11 a.m.—the vehicle fled and no one was hurt—and police are now searching for the driver. KRNV

- ➤ Burning Man is underway and many burners are arriving at Reno-Tahoe International Airport to board the Burner Express shuttle bus to Black Rock City—pickup now takes place outside baggage claim with dropoff near the Southwest Airlines check-in. First-time and returning travelers say the revised service makes going to the festival easier as busy travel days are expected on August 29, 30 and September 1. 2NEWS
