Good morning, Reno.

Arts For All Nevada hosted a free community festival yesterday at the historic Lake Mansion in Reno.

Dancers picked from genres including country, pink pony disco, and EDM during a street dance event in midtown Reno on Saturday.

The lively event showcased creative expression and community spirit.

Reno Phil hosted its 31st annual summer party, Pops on the River, at Rancho San Rafael Regional Park, featuring vivid 80s-themed table displays (including a Ghostbusters group that earned Most Memorable and a Saturday morning cartoons tribute) and classic hits that made it the fundraiser’s biggest event of the year.

Nevada has joined 10 other western states to form the Western Transmission Expansion Coalition to modernize the power grid as electricity demand rises.

Gov. Joe Lombardo said the group will focus on high-impact transmission lines to support our growing economy.

The Red Cross is sharing heat safety tips — advising locals to drink water and dress lightly — as rising temperatures may affect health.

The guidance aims to help residents take proactive steps today.
