- ➤ The Reno Fire Department quickly controlled an attic fire at a home at 57 Reservation Road on Sunday evening after receiving a call at 5:40 p.m.—32 firefighters worked at the scene and cleanup continued while one dog was injured and no people were hurt. 2NEWS

- ➤ Sparks Police said they received several calls about gunshots around 11:25 p.m. Friday—when a 19-year-old from Reno was shot and killed—after the victim was treated on scene and then transported to a hospital. 2NEWS
- ➤ A 63-year-old Reno man identified as Steven Bowron—allegedly intoxicated during a dispute over keys—was arrested in Virginia City after reportedly firing six shots at a family members’ vehicle on June 28 at 3:46 p.m.—deputies recovered the firearm and six shell casings and set his bail at $175,140.
