  • Sparks Police Department is asking for help finding a suspect who attempted to steal an item worth $135 from Scheels in Sparks on June 9—witnesses are urged to contact the department with any information.  2NEWS
  • Sparks Police are asking for help in identifying suspects who allegedly stole merchandise worth $685.21 from Best Buy at 155 Los Altos Parkway on June 19—anyone with information is urged to contact the department immediately.  2NEWS

CULTURE NEWS

  • Northern Nevada and the Lake Tahoe area will celebrate America's 249th birthday during Independence Day weekend with fireworks shows, auto racing, concerts and parades scheduled from July 2 through July 6.
