- ➤ Residents near Lakeridge Golf Course were alarmed on May 14 when a local man in a high-visibility vest said he saw armed pest control workers using pellet guns near his home—footage later showed workers firing unevenly close to houses. - ➤ Sparks Police in Reno are asking the community to help identify a motorcyclist who sped away from a traffic stop on June 18 at 5:10 p.m. near Springland Drive and Sparks Boulevard—officers ended the pursuit for safety reasons and describe the rider as operating a white Harley Davidson while wearing a black vest with a lime green shirt and showing multiple tattoos on his left arm, and residents with tips should contact Sparks Police.
