- ➤ Nearly 3,900 NV Energy customers lost power on Friday morning in north Reno after a pole-mounted transformer issue. Crews isolated the problem and restored power for most customers, and they continued repairs to bring service back safely. 2NEWS

ENVIRONMENT NEWS
- ➤ NDOW released a 2-year-old female bear into the wild yesterday near a west trailer park, and biologists used Karelian Bear Dogs to help the animal develop a natural fear of people. KRNV
- ➤ The Lake Tahoe Basin Management Unit will conduct prescribed burns from May 26 through 29 in areas north of State Route 28 with public access restricted and warning signs posted. The Forest Service said the work will proceed this spring as weather permits. 2NEWS
