ACCIDENTS NEWS
- ➤ State Route 341, also known as Geiger Grade Road, was closed in both directions after a fatal motorcycle crash occurred just north of Washoe Mile Marker 4 when an adult man riding at high speed failed a curve and was pronounced dead on scene (officials said the investigation is ongoing and drivers are urged to use alternate routes). 2NEWS
- ➤ A motorcycle rider was hit by a car on Stead Blvd near Silver Lake Blvd close to Sierra Sage Golf Course Friday night and remains in hospital with life-threatening injuries while the driver stayed on scene and is cooperating with the investigation — speeding is believed to have played a role. 2NEWS

- ➤ The Washoe County Sheriff’s Office is inviting residents to complete an online community survey that asks about public safety, leadership performance, overall service, trust, and community engagement. - ➤ The Nevada Department of Ag said Nevada and Idaho reached an agreement that lets producers transport unvaccinated cattle between the states for grazing amid a brucellosis RB51 vaccine shortage—this arrangement covers only cattle affected over the last 12 months and excludes those older than 18 months. 2NEWS
