Firefighters will conduct prescribed burns in Hope Valley this week to manage vegetation and reduce wildfire risks; residents may notice some visible smoke during the burns.

City officials are exploring a Regional Park District with local partners (Washoe County and the Redevelopment Agency) after community surveys, site visits and stakeholder input helped shape the proposal.
Reno residents should review Nevada regulations on marijuana use before 4/20 as state rules detail where to consume legally and how to travel with edibles+joints.
The guidelines also outline TSA requirements and cross-state limits for those carrying marijuana-related products.

Total Bliss Wellness opens today in south Reno from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m., offering infrared saunas, cold plunge therapy, steam and salt saunas, red light therapy and leg compression systems.
