- ➤ Alejandro Ayala was arrested in Sparks for hitting a woman in the head with a metal chain and trying to strangle her on April 6—when officers responded to a disturbance at the 200 block of North McCarran Blvd—he now faces multiple charges including domestic battery, battery with a deadly weapon and property damage.
