- ➤ Governor Joe Lombardo said he would not sign this year's Cesar Chavez Day proclamation Tuesday because of ongoing investigations into allegations, prompting Filipino groups to cancel marches and push for renaming the holiday. - ➤ Members of the Reno-based 152nd Airlift Wing departed early Tuesday for a three-month mission supporting Operation Epic Fury. The C-130 left at around 6:30 a.m. from the Guard headquarters (about eight percent of staff are on the mission) with a planned U.S. stop before heading to Europe. KRNV
- ➤ Reno’s Nevada Air National Guard 152nd Airlift Wing deployed airmen today to support Operation Epic Fury, and Governor Joe Lombardo said he is praying for the troops based on their extensive training and history of rapid airlift support. 2NEWS
