  • First responders across Nevada join a statewide challenge to boost donor registration as part of National Donate Life Month. The event begins tomorrow at 7 p.m. with a lighting ceremony at the Reno Arch (345 N. Virginia St.) to honor donors and promote life-saving contributions.  2NEWS
  • Local headlines show fire crews responded to a downtown building fire Saturday night and cleanup efforts continue at a train derailment near USA Parkway east of the city — a report also examines living off the grid.  2NEWS

  • Fire crews are on scene at an active incident in Spanish Springs near Nicole Drive where an RV fire damaged a section of fence and investigations are ongoing with no reported injuries.  2NEWS

  • Officials say road construction projects in Washoe County are planned carefully to avoid heavy traffic delays today—helping Reno drivers keep moving smoothly.  2NEWS

HEALTH NEWS

  • Renown’s clinic (The Summit) now faces parking challenges as families struggle with wheelchair access that forces them to cross a busy lot and climb steep ramps. City officials and clinic representatives say discussions are underway to find a solution, leaving some patients to choose other locations for care.  KRNV
  • A new report said up to 145,000 Nevadans risked losing Medicaid coverage after new work requirements and six-month redeterminations went into effect in January. Self-employed workers, family caregivers and others without disabilities face this risk, with improved data automation potentially limiting losses to 71,000.  KUNR
