Good morning, Reno.

A local nonprofit partnered with area businesses to deliver handmade Easter baskets to children of TSA families at Reno-Tahoe Airport this week to show support for the workers.

After last week’s record-breaking heat, Reno and the region are cooling down today as highs near 66 and occasional showers are expected later next week.

Experts note that the recent warmth has contributed to environmental challenges like reduced streamflows and algal blooms at Lake Mead—factors that could impact water supplies.
