- ➤ The Washoe County Sheriff warns that vehicle burglaries at parks—where suspects open unlocked doors or break windows—rose in February as items left in plain view make tempting targets and advises people to leave valuables at home until deputies arrive. KRNV
- ➤ Reno Police arrested a suspect after responding to a call about someone threatening to shoot officers - officers found the suspect barricaded in a bedroom in an apartment on Ryland Street Friday evening. 2NEWS

- ➤ On Friday, the Education Department announced it is investigating dozens of schools for alleged race-exclusionary practices in academic programs and scholarships — one of those being UNLV.
