  • Incline Fireworks will start an underwater salvage operation for a submerged barge in March, and Ski Beach will be closed from March 13 until the end of the month.  2NEWS

ACCIDENTS NEWS

  • A video from Feb. 27 shows a man rescued after he was buried in several feet of snow at Palisades Tahoe, and rescue crews worked quickly to secure his safety amid harsh winter conditions.  2NEWS

BUSINESS NEWS

  • Local businesses can register for the Corporate Challenge, a four-week competition of 12 events including cornhole, escape room, 5K run, and trivia from Sept. 9 to Oct. 4. Registration ends Aug. 3 and a kick-off meeting is set for Aug. 12 at Evelyn Mount Northeast Community Center.  2NEWS

  • Carson High School held a grand opening for its career closet that gives students free clothes for job interviews. The service started on Feb. 27 + is now available to help students prepare for work.  2NEWS

  • Mt Rose Ski Tahoe is set to extend its open late schedule through the season, running select lifts and wildslide tubing on Fridays +and+ Saturdays to offer guests extended evening options +until season’s close+.  2NEWS
