- ➤ A new Climate Central report finds that Reno has had at least two additional extremely warm winter days on average since 1970 — a change that may affect water management, crops, and cooling costs. KUNR
- ➤ A new groundwater tool from the Nature Conservancy, Desert Research Institute and University of Wisconsin-Madison maps areas in Nevada where plants use underground water and helps water managers and land planners spot risks—like drought and development—for local ecosystems.
