ENVIRONMENT NEWS

  • Federal officials at the Bureau of Land Management will start a new environmental review for the 350-mile Greenlink North transmission line after local groups flagged concerns about sage grouse habitat. GOVERNMENT NEWS

  • The Supreme Court of Nevada will train paid mediators to help families in dependency cases by offering a 40-hour certification course. Applicants in Washoe, Nye, and Esmeralda Counties are encouraged to apply now, with a five-day training set in Carson City.  2NEWS
  • RTC updated on the Prater Way Rehabilitation Project between Pyramid and Probasco Ways in Sparks (aiming to improve safety for drivers and pedestrians amid rising crashes). The project will begin in spring and finish in fall.  2NEWS
