  • Storm warnings are in effect for Tahoe and along I-80 as heavy snow and strong winds are forecast from Friday night through Monday, prompting difficult travel on mountain routes.   • Douglas County Deputies are holding classes for local businesses and employees to learn responsible service practices that support community safety. The training sessions will be held soon at designated locations (contact your local office for details).  2NEWS
  • Douglas County Sheriff’s Office and Partnership Douglas County are offering free training on responsible alcohol and tobacco service to help servers reduce harm for the community.
