About this event

Nursing Grand Rounds, presented by Renown Health and the Orvis School of Nursing at the University of Nevada, Reno, continues with the second session of our two-part series focused on practical tools for the therapeutic presence in a clinical practive.

Session two will be led by Adi Cabral, Department Chair of Theatre and Dance at the University, and will explore theatre-based approaches to intentional nonverbal communication in clinical encounters. Participants will examine how physical positioning, posture, spatial arrangement and intention can shape patient perception and communication in the patient room. Attendees will walk away with practical strategies for using body language, positioning and presence more intentionally in patient care.
