Have you ever liked someone so much it made you feel a little sick?

Like your stomach hurts, you can’t think straight, you’re checking your phone too much, and suddenly every tiny interaction feels way more important than it probably should?

That’s kind of where LOVE/SICK by John Cariani lives.

The show is made up of 10 short stories about people trying to figure out love while they’re already in the middle of it. People fall for each other, pull away from each other, get married, question everything, say the wrong thing, want too much, and sometimes have absolutely no idea what they’re doing.

“I’m a student director at University of Nevada, Reno, and I’ve spent the last few months building this show with a group of really wonderful student actors,” said director Sophia Roman. “I fell in love with LOVE/SICK because it treats love as something funny and beautiful, but also awkward, confusing, physical, ridiculous, and honestly kind of gross sometimes.”

Come hang out with us, laugh a little, cringe a little, and maybe recognize yourself somewhere in it.
